Subject: Ghazal !!!!

Shashank, here is the ghazal you wanted to be posted. There are couple of
more couplets in this ghazal which I don't remember and I don't have the
cassette here with me ..............

Qatah : Andaaz apnay dekhtay hain aainay mein woh,
Aur yeh bhi dekhtay hain koi dekhta na ho !

[She is admiring her styles in the mirror,
And at the same time, is also watching that nobody else is watching her !]

Ghazal:

Kal chodhveen ki raat thi, shab bar raha charcha tera,
Kuch nay kaha yeh chaand hai, kuch nay kaha chehra tera!

[Yesterday it was one night prior to Full Moon night, Whole night we kept discussing you,
Some said it is the Moon, some said it your face !]

Note : [Poonam ki Raat is Full Moon Night.
Chadhveen ki Raat is one night prior to Full Moon night.]

Is shehar mein kis say miley, hum say to chooti mehfilay,
Har shakhs tera naam lay, har shakhs deewana tera !

[Whom should we meet in this city, we lost all our gatherings,
Everybody talks about you, everybody is crazy about you !]

Hum bhi wahan majood they, hum say bhi sab poocha kiyey,
Hum hus diyey hum chup rahey, manzoor tha parda tera !

[I was also present there, everybody asked me too,
I laughed, I kept mum, I accepted your veil !]
